Trendy and fun! Leanne did a great job on this modern mullet for Andrea!! 😎
Before & After...Brooke came to see Shannon this week for a haircut and decided to donate her long locks to a child in need ❤️We love how thoughtful our clients are and we love the end result Shannon achieved! Enjoy your new look, Brooke!
“Grey color with a pixie/faux hawk cut for Bridget! check out how different lighting can make a color look completely different!” Nice work by Leanne @leannescissorhands @ Lakeland, New York
Leanne did some amazing work on Brenna this week! She used a full platinum card approach to lighten her up, followed by pulp riot lilac for that perfect hue Brenna was looking for! #platinumcard #pulpriot @ Lakeland, New York
Hair Studio 5 is so happy to be a part of this great fundraiser featuring all local to Lakeland businesses! Stop down to Liquor, wine and moonshine. Grab a few of your favorites and try you luck with the raffles! So many awesome businesses contributing. Who wouldn’t want to win any one of these baskets!!! Starting this weekend, we will be holding a raffle as a fundraiser for the Solvay Geddes Community Youth Center. Pictured here are some of the prizes we will be raffling off. There is a Yeti cooler stuffed full with liquor, wine, moonshine, and t-shirts. There is a moonshine basket with signed bottles of Tim Smith's Climax, and Mark and Digger's apple rye. There is also a basket of Skyy vodkas which will come with a basket of wines. Not pictured is a wedding themed basket with bottles of champagne, two champagne flutes, and gift cards from Bella Bakery , HAIR STUDIO 5 and Enfoque Images. Stop in and try your luck and support a great organization!! GOOD LUCK!!
Pretty balayage by Leanne on the lovely Grace! Perfectly placed and toned for the exact look Grace was seeking! #saturdayvibes #balayage #hairgoals @ Lakeland, New York
Round 2 of this transformation Saturday! This time it was Heathers turn! Amanda has beautiful hair with a gorgeous natural coming in and she no longer wants to color. This was our second session of the process. We added some marble grey for definition. Always fun to play with color combinations! Thanks Amanda! Gorgeous as always!!
Transitioning to natural? While it can be a multi step process the results are worth it! When Deb decided to go from her level 5 color to natural, Shannon began the process in stages to assure the healthiest of results. Today, is the payoff!! 😎❤️😊
[08/03/20]   We want to take a minute and thank our many clients for the support we’ve received these past couple of months. It’s been a whirlwind for us no doubt but it’s been so great getting back to normal, somewhat! We spent the last few months catching up on appointments that were missed etc and not booking many new clients. Now that things are settled, we can open up our days to more clients so if we haven’t seen you yet, give us a call and we will happily find you a spot! Your stylists hours may have changed a bit temporarily but all stylists are back and providing most services. See you soon!
Just a little note..we’ve heard a few reports locally of clients going to their salon while suspicious they may have covid. One case the client went to a salon while actually waiting for test results. Those results came back positive days after this individual was in the stylists chair. We are doing everything we can to keep our clients, as well as ourselves safe and healthy. Please keep that in mind before you make your way to your hair appointment. It’s not worth the risk if you think you may be sick. Please realize if someone is irresponsible and knowingly brings covid to a business, that business will be forced to shut down again and many will not survive a second trip down lockdown road. Please just be respectful of yourselves as well as your hairstylist. We love you all and want to stay healthy so we can continue to make you all look and feel your best ❤️❤️❤️
[06/03/20]   Hair Studio 5 is experiencing a phone outage this morning. We have Spectrum working on it so if you’re trying to reach us just be patient hopefully we will be back up shortly. We will inform you here on Facebook once we get the situation resolved! Message us here in the meantime!
Hair Studio 5 will begin seeing clients on June 15th. We will start taking appointments next week and we encourage you to call us to set up your time. One of our stylists will be at the salon answering phones beginning next week (Tuesday 5/26) so please call any day between 9:00am & 3:00pm. It’s a whole new normal we all have to learn in the wake of this pandemic so please feel free to let us know your concerns if any, we will be happy to answer your questions and reassure you of your safety while in our care. We are so excited and happy to get back to work and of course to see you all!!!
Hey everyone! We hope you are all doing well and are ready to get back into the swing of life soon! Today it was clarified that hair salons and barbershops will be part of phase 2 opening. That said, it is possible we could start taking appointments in 2 weeks, assuming all goes well with phase 1. We have to wait and see but..stay tuned to our social media accounts as well as our website for updates. As soon as we know the exact date we can reopen we will let you know so you can be sure to get an appointment! Hang in there..we’ll see you soon!!!!
[04/23/20]   We’re thinking of you all...

Yes- salon's will reopen- at some point- different for every state, every salon.

What can CLIENTS do to help salons navigate a new 'normal' you ask?🤔

💥Know you were missed terribly and your stylists is grateful for your return....
💥Know safety measures were created for all involved.
💥Know the importance of coming alone, extra people in a salon compromises everyone.
💥Know your stylist cannot physically work 16 hour days 7 days a week, rest is essential for all..😴
💥Know your initial services will take more time. ⌚
💥Know that coming in sick isn't an option
💥Know that walk-ins will not be an option for some salons- call the salon before you leave home.📞
💥Know that rescheduling hundreds of clients will take time...🤔⌚
💥Know that when you arrive you will need to wait until your stylist gives you the go ahead before entering the building, having your cell phone handy in your car will help considerably.
💥Know that your stylist is thrilled to see you but doesn't want or need a hug, your presence is the best hug ever. 😷
💥Know that your health is the biggest concern.
💥Know that your stylist may choose to open at a later date than the state your in has allowed, being respectful of that decision takes an unimaginable load off his/ her brain and heart.
💥Know your stylist has already lost thousands of 💸💸 and has no desire to replace it with a ventilator for either of you, be patient. ❤
💥Know that if your health is already high risk, you need to wait, your health is more important..
💥Know that a 'soft opening ' will be anything but soft. 🙄
💥Know that your opinion of the entire situation won't change laws and rules necessary for everyone's safety are, keep the conversation to hair and how we can make you beautiful ❤
💥Know that while trying to connect with your stylist there are hundreds of others attempting the same thing, responses will be slow coming as your stylist is preparing everything and answering everyone simultaneously
💥Know, above all else, no one is more excited about your arrival than your stylist- help make it the best appointment ever!!!🙏❤🙏❤🙏

Together we can make this work safely for all❤❤
Today marks day 20 of our salon shut down. We wanted to let you all know, we are just laying low and following all the guidelines to keep everyone safe. We are anxiously awaiting the word that it’s safe to open our doors once again. As things evolve we will be posting here on social media as well as our website. Clients who had appointments with us during this time will be contacted by us to reschedule. We hope you are all doing well, and are finding positive ways to spend your time. We miss you all and can’t wait to see you again 💕
We miss you all. Please hang tight. We WILL see you all soon ❤️❤️❤️ I know your roots are bad, I know your hair will be too long and you won't feel like yourself. I would love to go back to work but I can't, our industry can't. When you ask us what kind of color you will need and buy that store box color just remember your putting money into the big companies pocket while we small ones are suffering. There is no way to make income from our industry right now since we are hands on. When we can come back, please remember us and please don't blame us if we need to fix your hair and it will cost more.
Not only do we miss our income but we miss you. Our chats, laughter, tears, we share so much more than just a haircut. We are standing here united to stay safe but inside we are worried and stressed about our work being completely torn from us. We sit patiently waiting, like you, for answers or reassurance of some sort. With uncertain clarity, we hope and pray that you will be back to us soon and our industry comes back stronger than ever! 🙏
Please share and support your stylist. Help remember our hairstylist community as we stand not behind our chair right now, but united being safe through this pandemic.

Rita

As of today, 3/20/2020 We will be closing until further notice. Please keep watch of our website and social media pages for updates as to when we will be open again. Until then, please stay well and we can’t wait for the day we see you all again. Let’s pray this passes quickly. Be well ❤️
Good morning! While HS5 remains open, we would like our followers to know that we will not be accepting walk-ins at this time. We are primarily here to take care of our regularly scheduled clients in an attempt to keep our flow of traffic to a minimum. Once things settle we will again begin accepting walk ins and new clients. As for our scheduled appointments please if you’re not feeling well or feel you may have been exposed or just aren’t sure, do the right thing and reschedule for a later date. We understand whole heartedly how important our hair appointments are and how much they make us all feel better when things seem out of control. We love you all and want to keep everyone safe. Be well.
HAIR STUDIO 5 We wanted to share this again. As of now, we remain open for business. Again, if you are feeling sick at all just give us a call and we will reschedule you. 🌸❤️😊 We would like to let our clients know that we are operating under our usual business hours, and if anything should change we will keep clients updated here as well as calling you in regards to your appointment.

We do ask that if you are feeling sick to please stay home and we would be happy to reschedule you for when you feel better. Be well 🥰
Give us a few hours. Promise we’ll make ya smile 😊
